Gunite Pools

Custom Inground Gunite Pools

Gunite pools are considered to be the top-of-the-line option when it comes to custom, inground pools. These pools can be built in any shape or design and offer superior strength in foundation. Gunite pools truly have no limits on creativity. At The Pool Guy LA, we can help make your dream pool a reality by using gunite material and giving you exactly the design you desire.

Pool owners often choose a gunite pool because special design features can be easily incorporated, such as swim-up bars, tanning ledges, and beach entries. The structural strength of these steel-rebar reinforced pools also allows for any number of water features, including waterfalls, grottos, slides, and bubblers to be added to the design.

With so many different styles, shapes, features, and materials to choose from, there is no reason your pool and spa should not be as uniquely individual as you are. That is why every Pool Guy LA pool and spa is a fully custom creation. We offer top-quality materials, the finest craftsmanship, and the care and attention to detail that you deserve. You can rest assured that Pool Guy LA will build your family a pool and spa that is just like you - completely original.

What is a gunite pool?

A gunite pool is an inground concrete pool built on-site using a steel framework and sprayed concrete. This allows the pool’s shape, layout and features to be customized for your backyard. Read our guide to gunite pools.

Can you build a pool in a small backyard?

A smaller backyard may still have room for a custom pool. The Pool Guy has completed compact courtyard pools in Lafayette. Available space, construction access and the property’s layout help determine what’s practical. See our Lafayette courtyard pool project.

Can a custom pool include a spa, tanning ledge or waterfall?

Yes. A custom gunite pool can incorporate features such as a spa, tanning ledge, built-in seating, bubblers or waterfalls. The Pool Guy can help you choose features that fit your space and how you want to use your pool.
