🛠️ The Challenge: Building a Pool in A Compact Space
Building square or geometric pools in compact spaces requires more precision than you might think.
Because this project was done in a tight courtyard space, there were major limitations with equipment access. We couldn’t bring in large excavation machines, so everything had to be done carefully with smaller tools and a well-planned layout.
Underground, things get even more complicated. In small backyards like this, pool plumbing, drainage, irrigation, and electrical lines all have to share limited space. That means layers of PVC and conduit have to be installed in the right sequence, at the right depths – otherwise one system can block or damage another later down the line.
On top of that, because it’s harder to access these systems once the concrete is poured and the pool is finished, everything has to be done right the first time. There’s very little margin for error.
This is where experience really counts. We’ve done enough custom pool building to know what can go wrong – and how to avoid it.
